Tag หรือบางครั้งเรียกว่า Transponder นั้นจะประกอบด้วยเสาอากาศทำหน้าที่คล้องสัญญาณที่ส่งมาจากเครื่องอ่านและส่วนของไมโครชิพ โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภทตามการใช้พลังงานคือ

• Active tag (มีแบตเตอรี่ในตัว สามารถส่งสัญญาณได้ไกล แต่จะมีราคาสูง)
• Passive tag (ไม่มีแบตเตอรี่ แต่จะได้รับพลังงานจากการคล้องสัญญาณสนามแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้าเมื่อเข้ามาอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่มีสัญญาณ ระยะอ่านจะต่ำกว่า แต่ก็มีราคาต่ำกว่าเช่นกัน)
• Semi-Active Tag (บางรายเรียก Semi-Passive) เป็นการผสมกัน เมื่อTagเข้ามาอยู่ในรัศมีของเครื่องอ่าน(ใช้กระแสไฟน้อยมาก)จะถูกกระตุ้นให้แบตเตอรี่ทำงาน ทำให้อ่านได้ไกลกว่าและทะลุทะลวงมากกว่า Passive Tag 

เนื่องจาก Tag สามารถผลิตในรูปแบบที่หลากหลาย เพื่อให้เข้ากับระบบงานของลูกค้า บริษัทเอเซนเทคฯ จึงได้คัดเลือก Tag จากผู้ผลิตที่มีคุณภาพเพื่อรองรับความต้องการที่หลากหลายรวมถึงรับออกแบบและผลิตTagตามงานออกแบบ  โดยTagที่บริษัทจำหน่ายได้ผ่านการทดสอบใช้งานมาแล้วทุกชิ้น ทำให้บริษัทกล้ารับประกันความเสียหายและเปลี่ยนสินค้าใหม่ให้กับลูกค้าทุกราย(ยกเว้นการใช้งานผิดประเภทหรือมีการนำไปดัดแปลง)

นอกจากนี้ยังมีการแบ่งประเภทของTag ตามคลื่นความถี่ที่ใช้งานและตามประเภทงานที่นำTagไปใช้

• High Frequency Tag 13.56MHz
• Ultra High Frequency Tag 902-928 MHz(USA), 920-925MHz(China,Thailand)

The Laundry Tag has been specially designed for applications requiring 
a rugged transponder that can withstand harsh environments. This RFID

chemical resistance as needed in applications of contactless
